SDANG Stitch In

SDANG's Annual Stitch In was Saturday, August 11th, 2012. We were proud to host guest teacher Kay Stanis with her lovely project, Initial Illumination. To see pictures of the Stitch in, click here.

We will not be doing a Stitch In for 2013 as we are cohosting the Seminar; however, plans are already in readiness another fabulous project at our next Stitch In, August 9, 2014. Check back for updates!

This project is stitched on Congress cloth using silks and metallics. It incorporates techniques such as couching, blackwork, waffle stitch and handmade cording. The lovely finished piece can be used as a pillow accent, cell phone case, eyeglass case or for whatever other use your creativity suggests.
