We are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the needlearts. The San Diego Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild was founded in 1985. Over the years, it has provided a forum for local needle workers to exchange ideas/tips while making new friends. Members become involved in promoting the needle arts through such projects as:

A donated 3 foot round stitched replica of the San Diego City Seal which is on display in the Mayor's foyer at 303 C Street in San Diego. This project took 10 years for the membership to complete.

The Chapter has also stitched and donated some beautifully designed pillows for the waiting room of the San Diego Hospice.
